Steve has over 30 years experience in many varying sectors of the engineering industry. Starting his career as a workshop apprentice he then joined several other firms over the years each with differing technical roles. Prior to founding “3D” Steve was chief engineer at a company specializing in the design and manufacture of products for use in hazardous areas, primarily the offshore oil & gas industries.

He enjoys solving complex mechanisms and providing solutions to difficult engineering problems. Steve also has an in depth knowledge relating to the design of injection moulded components. Having a flair for innovation Steve has been named on numerous patent applications throughout his career.

Richard is responsible for all aspects relating to electronics within the company. He has attained a wealth of knowledge over the 20 years he has worked in the electronics industry, covering such areas as analogue, digital & mixed signal design, RF design, multi layer PCB design and Firmware development to name but a few. In recent years Richard has been designing & developing electronics for use in “connected” devices.

As a keen skydiver Richard enjoys nothing more than throwing himself out of a perfectly good aircraft thousands of feet above the ground.

Sanjay is our product stylist having more than 15 years experience in this field. He understands how human factors need to be integrated into the design and has created many novel and stylish solutions for client products. Sanjay is also an accomplished mechanical design engineer and enjoys finding solutions to complex engineering problems.

Hobbies for Sanjay involve composing music on his keyboard or making parts for his radio controlled car collection.

Will joined the company 4 years ago as his first full time employment after leaving secondary school. During this period he has undertaken training on HPLC machines, CNC programming and Solidworks MCAD. Will can be found maintaining our rapid prototyping machines or within the cleanroom conducting laboratory product testing.

Will enjoys playing ‘FIFA’ on his gaming console and going to live music venues.
